Through his media work and debate platforms Novar has become a voice for political discussion in hip hop and London culture. His proactive involvement in encouraging youth engagement in politics, lead to him taking part in founding Rize Up UK. During the 2017 general election this youth voting initiative gained support from Rudimental, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, Big Narstie, Riz Ahmed, Akala, Maverick Sabre, Emeli Sande, Lily Allen, Doc Brown, Brian May, UB40, Steel Pulse, Rick Astley, Soweto Kinch and many more. Rize Up UK was covered in the press by NME and many more, and contributed to seeing the highest youth vote turn out in 25 years.
